No matter how far I stray into other dress designs, I always find my way back to the wrap dress. The Elle Dress is a spin on the oh-so-timeless Ellen Dress in our Building Blocks collection, the main difference being that the Elle includes a full lining and a tie closure (rather than a snap closure with an included tie).
The Elle is the most effortless thing you could put on in the morning (just wrap the ties around your waist and make a bow), yet it looks far from it. The Elle accommodates fluctuations in weight, yet it always is a perfect fit. It's for good reason that I can't seem to give this style a rest.

This dress is made of made of cotton georgette woven in Japan. Lightweight, sheer, and with a characteristic dry hand and subtle crunch, this fabric is a bit more rustic than a classic silk georgette but no less lovely. It is dyed a a pale dove gray.
The dress is self-lined with the same cotton georgette.
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
The Elle Dress is fitted in the bust and the waist and free in the hips, so use both your bust and waist measurements when determining your size. If you fall in between sizes, I recommend going with the size closest corresponding to your bust measurement, sizing up if you'd like a bit more coverage and sizing down if you'd like to show bit more skin. Nonetheless, because of the wrap construction of the dress, the sizing is quite forgiving, both up and down.
Tanya is wearing a size 4 and is 5'10".
