We're sorry, but this product is sold out.
I usually don't design both shorts and pants within one collection, but this sunny, stripey fabric was just begging to be made into a pair of vintage-inspired shorts, so I made a last-minute addition. These shorts have the same cut as FW18's Aurora Pants, but instead of a wide leg they have a not-too-short, not-too-long 3.5" inseam. The high rise and semi-relaxed fit through the hips give the Aurora Shorts a pinup vibe that's absolutely perfect paired with the matching Dory Top.

These shorts are made of silk shantung milled in India. Ever since working with shantung for the first time for our FW19 collection, I've been obsessed. Shantung has a glamorous sheen and subtle crispness that make it a joy to work with and an even greater joy to behold. This particular shantung features multicolored stripes (yellow, blue, taupe, and white) that exude summery joy.
These shorts are lined with Bemberg cupro rayon woven in Japan. Cuprammonium rayon is so neat: it has all the benefits of being a natural fiber — breathability, biodegradability, durability — in addition to all the benefits of a super silky lining fabric — anti-static, anti-cling, total opacity. Made from the leftover fibers (known as linter) from the cotton plant after the ginning process, cupro is super-sustainable too (a true zero-waste fiber!).
Take a look at our Size Guide to find your size.
Use both your waist and hip measurements when determining your size in the Aurora Shorts. If you fall in between sizes, I recommend sizing up.
